Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. NOTE: The exhaust hanger insulators can be reused if they show no signs of damage.
Remove the exhaust hanger insulator.
3. Remove the two nuts.
4. Remove the TWC-to-muffler clamp.
5. NOTE: It may be necessary to heat the TWC-to-muffler joint to ease removal.
Separate the Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) from the muffler.
Installation
1. Install the three way catalytic converter.

Position the three way catalytic converter.

Install the nuts.
