4. Remove and discard the driveshaft slip yoke boot.

5. Check the lubricant for contamination. If the lubricant feels gritty, clean and inspect the stub shaft and driveshaft slip yoke for wear. Replace as

necessary.

Assembly 

1. Fill the driveshaft slip yoke boot with approximately 10 grams (0.36 ounce) of Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or equivalent meeting Ford

specification ESA-M1C75-B.

2. Position the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp onto the stub shaft.

3. Slide the driveshaft slip yoke boot over the stub shaft, and seat it into the boot groove.
4. For all except the front driveshaft, use the Keystone Clamp Pliers to crimp the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp.
