Fuel Injection Supply Manifold: Description and Operation

The fuel injection supply manifold delivers high-pressure fuel from the vehicle fuel supply line to the eight fuel injectors. The fuel injection supply
manifold consists of two banks of tubular fuel rails connected by two permanent crossover connections, eight injector connectors, a mounting flange to
the fuel pressure regulator, and mounting attachments that locate the fuel injection supply manifold and provide fuel injector retention. The fuel inlet and
return have push-connect fittings. The unit is serviced as an assembly only.
