Pilot Bearing: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove transmission.
2. Remove clutch pressure plate and clutch disc.
3. Using Puller T58L-101-B. remove transmission input shaft pilot bearing.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: A new transmission pilot bearing must be installed whenever the pilot bearing is removed.
NOTE: The pilot bearing can only be installed with the seal end facing the transmission. The bearing and seal are pre-greased and do not require
additional lubrication.
