Rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor Removal

Remove the rear brake anti-lock sensor.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the rear brake anti-lock sensor bolt.

Remove the rear brake anti-lock sensor.

Rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor Cleaning And Inspection

Clean and inspect the rear brake anti-lock sensor.

Clean the axle mounting surface. Use care not to get dirt in the rear axle housing.

Inspect and clean the magnetized rear brake anti-lock sensor pole piece.
3
Inspect the rear anti-lock brake control 0-ring for damage. Replace if necessary.
4
Lightly lubricate the rear anti-lock brake control 0-ring with engine oil.
