Fuel Pressure Check Valve: Description and Operation
Description
The fuel pump assembly has a discharge check valve that maintains system pressure after the ignition has been turned off. The Fuel Pressure check
valve is integral to the fuel pump assembly, and is NOT serviceable.
Purpose
This pressure retention helps to minimize starting problems.
