10. If damaged, remove the dust shield from the axle shaft.
CAUTION: Do not damage seal or bearing surfaces.
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the inner bearing.
(1) Position the axle tube in a vise.
(2) Position the inner bearing.
(3) Use (B) Needle Bearing Replacer and (A) Driver Handle to install the inner bearing.
NOTE: Use the appropriate side of the Needle Bearing Replacer to install the inner bearing.
