Tighten the bolts and nuts on the intake and exhaust manifold to the head to 22-32 ft.lbs. (30- 43 N-m) in the sequence shown in Figure 23.

12.

If the intake and exhaust manifolds were separated, tighten the nuts joining them to 22-32 ft.lbs. (30-43 N-m) (Reference Step 7).

13.

Position a new gasket on the muffler inlet pipe and connect the inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the nuts to 25-38 ft.lbs. (33.9-51.5
N-m).
