Electric Assist Choke: Service and Repair
1.
Remove carburetor from engine.
2.
Invert carburetor and cover all vacuum and fuel fittings with tape.
3.
Using hacksaw, carefully saw slot lengthwise through metal thickness of cap. Take care not to saw into throttle body.
4.
Insert screwdriver in slot just cut, and twist to spread cap enough to allow removal of inner cap.
5.
Count and note number of turns required to seat mixture screw lightly.
6.
Install new tamper-resistant cap after performing propane enrichment check.
