REMOVAL
1. Remove the wheel hub.
2. Relieve the torsion bar tension.
(1) Position the torsion bar tool and the adapters.
(2) Tighten the Torsion bar tool until the torsion bar adjuster lifts off of the adjustment bolt.
3. Remove the torsion bar adjustment bolt and nut.
CAUTION: The torsion bar adjustment bolt is coated with dry Loctite and must be replaced if it is lacked off or removed. Failure to do so can
cause the adjustment bolt to loosen up during operation and a loss of vehicle alignment.
4. Loosen the torsion bar adjustment tool until the tension is removed from the torsion bar.
