Synchronizer Hub: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY 

1. Disassemble the synchronizer.

Remove one retaining spring.

Flip synchronizer over and remove opposite retaining spring.

3

Remove the three insert keys.

4

Remove the sleeve.

NOTE:  Match mark parts for assembly.

2. Inspect all synchronizer components for wear and damage.

ASSEMBLY 

1. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
