1986 and 1987 model California F150/250 and Bronco trucks equipped with 5.0L engines having Calibration Codes 6-54Q and
6-54S-R00 (1986 models) and 7-54R-R05/R11 and 7-54S-R05/R11 (1987 models). Refer to the following information
depending upon the number and location of the fuel tanks.

Fuel System Pressure Relief
CAUTION: Fuel supply lines on EFI engines will remain pressurized for some period of time after the engine is shut off. This residual pressure must be
relieved before servicing of the fuel system is begun.
Relieve the residual pressure in the fuel system as follows:

Disconnect the inertia switch.

Crank the engine for 15 to 20 seconds to relieve pressure.
