SURGE/STUMBLE - POOR ACCELERATION (5.0L) EFI
LIGHT TRUCK 1985 F-SERIES AND BRONCO
Engine stumble, surge and unsatisfactory acceleration may be the result of a plugged fuel filter and/or fuel filter line.
The filter is located between the high pressure fuel pump and the engine fuel rail.
To service the fuel filter and/or fuel filter line, refer to the procedure outlined in the 1985 Truck Shop Manual, Volume B, Section 24-51-2.
