SEALANT USAGE
LIGHT TRUCK 1984-85 F150-250, BRONCO
Improper use of RTV sealant and/or SROD transmission gaskets to seal extension housing covers, front main bearing retainers and transmission access
top covers may result in leakage.
Use of SROD transmission gaskets in the front bearing retainer to case or between the extension housing to case areas will result in excessive bearing
end play.
Use Anaerobic Sealer (Gasket Eliminator) E2AZ-19562-A (ESE-M4G234-A) or equivalent forming a mating surface gasket pattern or the following:
