LIGHT TRUCK:
1984-87 F 250/350
ISSUE:
A powertrain/air conditioning "moan" noise may occur at about 1400 RPM because of a combined engine, transmission, and A/C bracket
vibrating condition.
ACTION:
To correct this, install a new design A/C bracket, support brace, and transmission damper assembly using the following service procedure.

1.
Remove and throw away old A/C bracket (-2882-) and spacer (-6AO59-), Figure 7.
2.
Install new bracket (E6TZ-2882-E), support brace (E6TZ-2888-A), and shorter spacer (E7TZ- 6AO59-A), Figure 7.
3.
Torque all bolts to specification.
