TESTING PROCEDURE
LIGHT TRUCKS 1983-84 E & F-SERIES
Reports have indicated that in some cases, fuel injection nozzles are not being properly tested before replacement.
Fuel injection nozzles must be checked as specified in the Engine Performance Chart FPS-8433 and per procedures specified on pages 32-60 and 32-61
of the 1984 Emission Diagnosis Manual prior to replacement.
All nozzles returned to the Warranty Parts Return Center must be accompanied by a copy of the FPS-8433 Form and a copy of the 1863 Claim Form for
warranty reimbursement. Nozzles returned without proper and complete documentation will be charged back.
