Using the procedure shown in 1985 Light Truck Shop Manual, Volume A, Section 17-10, C-6 Automatic Transmission, install components included in
the kit. For control valve body components and their location see Figure 18.
Installation of this kit on a vehicle with 3000 plus rpm on 1-2 and 2-3 wide open throttle shifts will have no effect on the subject concern.
NOTE:
On vehicles with a 3.07 axle, it is not recommended to use this kit to resolve towing concerns. Low power towing complaints may indicate the
customer purchased the wrong axle ratio for the truck's application.
