SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Start the vehicle and keep the engine running. The vehicle must not be moving.
2.
Turn the blower speed to "Low".
3.
Set the heater control to "Panel" and listen for evidence of the reported noise. Repeat this procedure for "Floor" and "Defrost" positions.
4.
If noise is detected, use a stethoscope device to locate the source of the noise.
