AFFECTED VEHICLES
Certain 1994 Model F-150 and F-250 trucks under 8,500 Lbs. GVW built before 8/27/93 equipped with driver air bags.
REASONS FOR RECALL
When the ignition key is moved to the start position, the driver air bag diagnostic monitor performs a system check. If the passenger door is being closed
during this system check, the safing sensor located in the right side B-pillar may close and cause the air bag to deploy.
To correct this condition, the diagnostic monitor will be replaced with a revised design.
