Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair
Oil Level Indicator and Tube
Removal
1. Remove the engine air cleaner (ACL) and the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Remove the left exhaust manifold.
3. Remove the bolt and remove the oil level indicator tube.
4. Inspect the oil level indicator tube for damage.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Install new O-ring seals and lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
3. Install the left exhaust manifold.
