14. Remove the nut.
CAUTION: Overtightening of the nut during installation will cause the stud to break away from the floor pan.
15. Lower the vehicle.
16. Remove the screws and the evaporator core housing support bracket.
17. Remove the 11 screws, release the 3 retaining tabs, and remove the evaporator core cover.
18. Remove the evaporator core.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

If a new evaporator is to be installed, lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil or equivalent.
