5. Remove, and discard the inline transmission fluid filter, if so equipped.
6. Using the special tool, disconnect the fluid cooler tubes from the fluid cooler.
7. CAUTION: Do not attempt to backflush and clean the OTA transmission fluid cooler. Install a new OTA transmission fluid cooler as part of a
transmission overhaul or exchange. Failure to follow these directions can result in transmission damage.
Remove the remaining bolts and OTA transmission fluid cooler.
Installation

Install the OTA transmission fluid cooler.

Position the fluid cooler in the vehicle.

Install the lower bolts

Connect the fluid cooler tubes to the fluid cooler hoses
