Body / Frame Mount Bushing: Service and Repair
Body Support - Front Radiator Support Upper
BODY SUPPORT-FRONT RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER
Removal and Installation
NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
All vehicles
1. Remove the front radiator support lower mount from the unserviceable front radiator support upper mount.
2. Loosen the opposite front radiator lower mount bolt and nut. Do not remove at this time.

During installation, remove and discard the bolt and nut. Install a new bolt and nut.
Excursion vehicles
3. Loosen the 12 remaining body mount bolts. Do not remove at this time.

During installation, remove and discard the bolts.Install new bolts.
F-Super Duty Regular Cab vehicles
4. Loosen the 4 remaining body mount bolts. Do not remove at this time.

During installation, remove and discard the bolts. Install new bolts.
F-Super Duty SuperCab vehicles
5. Loosen the 4 remaining body mount bolts. Do not remove at this time.

During installation, remove and discard the bolts. Install new bolts.
F-Super Duty CrewCab vehicles
6. Loosen the 6 remaining body mount bolts. Do not remove at this time.

During installation, remove and discard the bolts. Install new bolts.
All vehicles
7. CAUTION: When removing upper body insulators, all other body mount support bolts must be loose before raising the vehicle cab to
prevent permanent structural damage from occurring to the vehicle cab.
Raise and support the vehicle body enough to allow the removal of the unserviceable upper mount.
8. Remove the insulator.
9. NOTE: No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body insulator installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
