6. Disconnect the heater hose couplings from the underbody auxiliary heater. Refer to heater hose coupling disconnect procedure.
7. Disconnect the heater inlet and outlet hose couplings from the heater core.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Lubricate the coolant hoses with MERPOL (R) meeting Ford specification ESE-M99B144-B or plain water only, if needed.
Without Auxiliary Climate Control
REMOVAL
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the nuts and position the vapor management valve and bracket aside.
