To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor anchor.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
4. Remove the scuff plate and the rear corner trim panel.
5. Remove the 2 bolts and the safety belt retractor.

To install the upper bolt, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

To install the lower bolt, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
SuperCab vehicles
6. Position the safety belt shoulder guide cover DOWN.
7. Remove the bolt and the safety belt shoulder guide.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
8. Remove the scuff plate.
9. Remove the bolt and position aside the safety belt retractor.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
10. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor anchor.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
11. Remove the safety belt retractor.
Crew Cab vehicles
12. NOTE: Inspect the D-ring cover for damage. If the cover is damaged or does not remain closed, install a new D-ring cover.
Open the D-ring cover.
13. Remove the nut and the D-ring.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
14. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor anchor.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
15. Remove the front and rear door scuff plates.
16. Remove the 2 covers, 2 bolts and the B-pillar assist handle.
17. Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
18. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
All vehicles
19. CAUTION: When installing a new safety belt retractor do not remove the shipping clip until the D-ring is secured in position. Allowing
the safety belt to be retracted further into the safety belt retractor may cause the safety belt retractor to lock and not release the safety
belt.
To install reverse the removal procedure.
20. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
