11. Using the special tool, remove the sector shaft arm.
F-4501 F-550 vehicles
12. Using the special tool and 2 grade 8 bolts, 90 mm (3.54 inch), separate the sector shaft arm from the steering gear.
All vehicles
13. CAUTION: During installation, do not overtighten the fittings.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Using the special too], install 2 new Teflon(R) seals on the power steering line fittings.

Fill the power steering system.
