Seat Latch: Service and Repair

Front Bench

SEAT LATCH - FRONT BENCH

REMOVAL

1. Remove the seat backrest.
2. Remove side release handle.

-

Push clip out of slot and remove handle.

3. Roll seat back trim cover to expose seat latch bolts.

-

Release lower J-clip and uncover upper seat latch attachment bolts.

4. Remove the two bolts and remove the front seat latch.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Second Row, Right Side

SEAT LATCH - SECOND ROW, RIGHT SIDE

REMOVAL

1. Remove the seat backrest.

2. Remove the seat handle clip and handle.

3. Unclip the J-clips and position upholstery to gain access to the seat backrest linkage rod.
