Using needle-nose pliers or a 7/16-in (11 mm) socket pressed onto the retainer clip, carefully release the 4 retainer clips that hold the lumbar
assembly in place. Lay the lumbar assembly on the front seat cushion. The lumbar retainer clips are reused during installation. Two extra lumbar
retainer clips are provided in the kit, only to replace clips that may break during removal. See Figure 1.

Install a fender cover over the steering wheel to prevent the seat back from resting directly on the steering wheel.

Remove the 2 recliner-to-seat back bolts. See Figure 2.
