4. NOTE: Service refill capacities are determined by filling the rear axle with the specified lubricant to the specified level below the bottom of the
filler hole.
Fill the rear axle with specified lubricant, and install the filler plug.

For Traction-Lok axles, first fill the rear axle with 236.5 ml (8 ounces) of specified Ford Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ-1913546-A or
equivalent meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A.
5. Lower the vehicle.
