Distributor Cap: Testing and Inspection
1. Wash both inside and outside surfaces of the distributor cap with soap and water.
2. Dry distributor cap with compressed air.
3. Inspect for cracks, broken carbon button or carbon tracks.
4. inspect cap terminals for dirt and corrosion.
5. Replace the distributor cap if it is damaged.
