Universal Joint: Service and Repair
When assembling a slip between center driveshaft, the universal joint yokes must be assembled to the driveshaft on the same plane. If not, the assembly
may be out of balance, causing a driveline vibration.
NOTE: Two-piece driveshafts cannot be assembled out of phase due to a master or blind spline located on the yoke.
