Assemble the valve rocker arm assembly parts as shown in Figure 10.
NOTE:
Do not mix rocker arm assembly parts during reassembly. The rocker arm assembly must be installed on the same cylinder from which it
was removed to be sure of correct mating at the pushrod and valve stem.

Place valve rocker arm post onto valve rocker arm bolts, then insert bolt head into the 1/2 inch socket, Figure 11. The bolt will align the post in the
valve rocker arm while the socket acts as a holding fixture.

Place valve rocker arm over the post and bolt, which are held in place by the 1/2 inch socket as shown in Figure 12. Then, position retainer over
post and arm.
NOTE:
Apply clean engine oil between post and valve rocker arm.
