VERIFY the BJB fuses 7 (30A), 8 (30A); and SJB fuses 14 (10A), 16 (15A) are OK. If OK, REPAIR the suspect circuit.

K7 CHECK THE UPFITTER RELAY

Carry out the upfitter relay component test.
-
Does the upfitter relay pass the component test?
Yes
GO to K8.
No
INSTALL a new upfitter relay. TEST the system for normal operation.

K8 CHECK THE UPFITTER RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUITS

Connect: Upfitter Relay C2301, C2302, C2303, C2304.

Turn the upfitter switches on.

Measure the voltage between the upfitter relay box output circuits, at the blunt cut ends and ground as follows:

Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes
The system is operating correctly at this time. DIAGNOSE the add-on accessory as necessary.
No
REPAIR or INSTALL a new upfitter relay box as necessary. REFER to Upfitter Relay Box See: Power and Ground Distribution/Power Distribution
Module/Service and Repair/Upfitter Relay Box. TEST the system for normal operation.
