F 350 2WD Super Duty V10-6.8L (2009)
1. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, Bench See: Front Seats/Seat Backrest - Front, Bench.
2. Remove the latch handle clip and latch handle on the side of the affected recliner.
3. Release the J-clip and invert the backrest trim cover up, on the affected recliner side.
4. NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.
Position the backrest foam pad up on the side of the affected recliner enough to remove the recliner cover.

Remove the recliner cover.
5. Remove the affected recliner-to-backrest frame bolts.

To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
6. Separate the affected recliner from the recliner torque shaft and remove the affected recliner.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the front seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, Bucket Seat See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Seat - Front, Bucket Seat
.
2. If equipped, remove the manual lumbar handle.
1. Locate the slot in the manual lumbar handle.
2. Pry at 90 degrees of each side of the slot to release the tabs.

Remove the manual lumbar handle.
3. Release the clip and slide the recliner handle cover off.
