Removal and Installation
All seats
1. Remove the front seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, Bucket Seat See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Seat - Front, Bucket Seat
.
Seats with memory power seat track
2. Disconnect the 3 seat position sensor electrical connectors from the power seat track motors.
3. Disconnect the Driver Seat Module (DSM) electrical connectors.
All seats
4. Separate all electrical connectors from the seat track.
Seats with power seat track
5. Seats without memory, disconnect the power seat track motor electrical connector.
6. Remove the 4 power seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and remove the power seat track.

Feed the buckle switch electrical connector out through the opening in the side of the seat cushion frame.

Seats with memory, when the track is separated from the cushion frame, disconnect the power seat track motor electrical connector.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
Seats with manual seat track
7. Remove the 4 riser-to-track nuts and the LH and RH risers.

To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
8. Remove the 4 manual seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and manual track assembly.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
9. Remove the 3 seat track control handle-to-track bolts and separate the parts.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
All seats
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

If a new seat track has been installed on a driver seat with memory, the DSM must learn where the new seat track is at. The seat track must be
operated in all directions through the full range of travel to set soft stops and avoid a premature stopping point occurrence after the vehicle is
returned to the customer.
