All safety belt buckle assemblies
2. Fold the second row 40 and 60 percent seat backrest forward.

Remove the affected safety belt buckles from between the seat backrest and cushion.
3. Remove the affected safety belt buckle assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and LH side safety belt buckle assembly with felt washers.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Remove the 2 bolts and the RH side safety belt buckle assembly.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
4. NOTE: When installing a new safety belt buckle assembly, make sure it is installed on the correct side. This is due to the safety belt buckles and
tongues being different sizes from the LH to the RH side.
NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
5. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to the appropriate Functional Test procedure in Safety
