F 350 2WD Super Duty V10-6.8L (2009)
5. Remove and discard the upper steering column shaft-to-lower steering column shaft bolt.

To install, tighten the new bolt to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
6. From the passenger compartment, remove the upper steering column shaft.
7. Separate the steering gear shield from the steering gear housing.
8. Remove and discard the lower steering column shaft-to-steering gear bolt.

To install, tighten the new bolt to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
9. Remove the lower steering column shaft.
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
