ISSUE
Some 2009-2010 F-Super Duty 250/350 vehicles equipped with a 6.8L engine, crew cab, single rear wheel (SRW) and built on or after 3/18/2009 may
exhibit a drone/moan at highway speeds. The issue can be corrected by changing the axle companion flange to a flange assembly with a torsional
damper.
ACTION
Replace the axle companion flange with a flange assembly with a torsional damper. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 205-02 for additional
information.
