Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub - F-250, F-350
NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
Removal
1. Remove the wheel and tire.
2. NOTICE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.

Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.
3. Remove the grease cap.
4. Remove the cotter pin, wheel spindle nut retainer, nut and flat washer.

Discard the wheel spindle nut.
5. NOTE: Inspect the condition of the wheel spindle and threads, clean or install new components as necessary.
