Locate accelerator cable bracket. See Figure 2.
WARNING
DO NOT DAMAGE ACCELERATOR CABLE WHEN PERFORMING THIS STEP.
2.
Cut speed control cable on the throttle body side of bracket retainer. See Figure 2.
3.
Disconnect speed control cable end from throttle body linkage and discard. See Figure 2.
WARNING
FAILURE TO REMOVE CABLE END MAY RESULT IN A STUCK THROTTLE.
