Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
Without Retainer Plate
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the transmission from the jack.
Remove the flywheel.
3. Use the Rear Crankshaft Slinger Remover and the Slide Hammer to remove the crankshaft oil slinger.
