ISSUE
Some 2005 Super Duty F-Series vehicles equipped with 5.4L or 6.8L engine, single rear wheel and built prior to 11/24/2004, may exhibit a moan/grunt
noise from the power steering when turning the steering wheel, especially during left turns. The noise may sound like it is coming from the steering gear
or the steering column area.
ACTION
Replace the power steering pump-to-steering gear pressure line and the cooler-to-steering gear return line. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 211-02.
