Remove and discard the screws.

To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

2. CAUTION:  The sun visor gasket adhesive is extremely strong. Make sure to use adequate amount of force to remove the sun visor from

the vehicle.

Remove the sun visor from the vehicle then disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Remove and discard the sun visor gasket.

4. CAUTION:  If removing a rear rivet nut, removal of the headliner is necessary.

NOTE:  If the hole is out of specification, refer to Specifications.  See: Exterior Moulding / Trim/Specifications

If installing a new sun visor retaining screw or rivet nut, grind or drill the screw head and rivet nut flush.

5. Punch the remaining rivet nut through the hole.
6. Install a new rivet nut.
