F 350 2WD Super Duty V8-5.4L VIN 5 (2006)
Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the LH engine mount.
3. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.
4. Remove the 3 bolts and position the power steering pump assembly aside.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the oil filter adapter and position it aside.
6. Disconnect the degas bottle hose from the oil filter adapter and position it aside.
7. Disconnect the oil cooler coolant hoses from the oil cooler and position it aside.
8. Remove and discard the engine oil filter.
9. CAUTION: If metal or aluminum foreign material is present in the oil cooler, mechanical concerns exist.
Remove and inspect the engine oil cooler.

To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
