Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair

EVAPORATOR CORE ORIFICE

Removal

1. Remove the condenser-to-evaporator tube.

For a fixed orifice tube, carry out Steps 2 and 3.

-

For a broken orifice tube, carry out Steps 4 and 5.

2. Remove the vacuum reservoir tank.

3. Engage the special tool to the A/C evaporator core orifice.
