16. If equipped, remove the assist handle(s).

Remove the covers and bolts.

Remove the assist handle.
17. NOTE: Typical is shown.
Remove the two coat hooks.
18. Remove the two headliner front pin-type retainers and position the headliner aside.
19. NOTE: Pull down at the front of the bracket first.
Remove the overhead console bracket.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
