F 350 2WD Super Duty V8-6.4L DSL Turbo (2009)
2. Remove the output shaft flange.
All vehicles
3. Remove the transmission insulator-to-crossmember nuts.
4. Install a suitable transmission jack.
5. Remove the transmission insulator-to-extension housing bolts.
6. Raise the transmission upward, off the transmission insulator and remove the transmission insulator.
7. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor.
Transmissions with a fixed flange
8. Using the Output Shaft Locknut Socket, remove and discard the output shaft retaining nut.
