5. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal retaining bolts and the crankshaft rear oil seal.
6. NOTE: Be careful not to bend or twist the engine rear cover during removal.
Remove the rear cover retaining bolts and rear cover.
7. Clean the engine rear cover sealing surfaces.
8. Inspect the crankshaft rear oil seal, wear sleeve and alignment dowel pins for damage. Replace as necessary.
Installation
1. Apply silicone rubber to the engine rear cover sealing surfaces.
2. Install the engine rear cover and retaining bolts.
3. Apply silicone rubber to the rear oil seal retaining ring and the crankshaft rear oil seal retaining bolts.
4. Using the driver sleeve, guide pins and the crankshaft seal replacer, install the crankshaft rear oil seal.
