Article 00-25-4 is being republished as part of a consolidated 7.3L diagnostic aid booklet and to update the calibration table.

ISSUE

Some vehicles may exhibit an engine buck, surge, or jerk (also known as hitching/hesitation) while the speed control is active through all engine
temperatures. This may be caused by the calibration and strategy of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
