2. Remove and support the driveshaft.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the driveshaft.
3. Use the Companion Flange Holding Tool and Locknut Socket to remove the companion flange locknut.
4. Remove the companion flange.
5. On 4-wheel drive vehicles, remove the transfer case.
6. Use the Rear Seal Remover to remove the rear oil seal.
Installation
1. Install the rear oil seal.

On vehicles equipped with a 4x2 transmission, use the Rear Seal Replacer to install the rear oil seal.
2. On vehicles equipped with a 4X4 transmission, use the Output Seal Replacer to install the rear oil seal.
3. On vehicles equipped with a 4x2 transmission, install the rear companion flange.

Install the companion flange.

Use the Companion Flange Holding Tool to hold the companion flange. Use the Locknut Socket to install the locknut.
4. On vehicles equipped with a 4x4 transmission, install the transfer case.
5. Install the driveshaft.
